FIRENEST

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Firenest writes to your live data. You are responsible for what you change with it — read the section on that below before you rely on the app for production work.

What Firenest is

Firenest is an application that lets you administer Firebase projects you already control. It acts entirely on your behalf, using credentials you supply, and stores none of your project data.

By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your responsibility for changes

Firenest is a power tool pointed at production systems. Edits, deletions, renames and cascading updates take effect immediately against the project you selected. Publishing Remote Config reaches every client of that project the moment it succeeds.

The app includes safeguards — per-project read-only mode, confirmation on destructive actions, undo for the last save, and a refusal to overwrite an edit someone made first — but the responsibility for what you change, and for having backups, remains yours.

Your account and credentials

You must keep your account credentials and your device secure. You may only connect Google accounts you are authorised to use, and only administer projects you are authorised to administer. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Subscription

Firenest Pro costs $9.99 per month and begins with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. If you cancel during a free trial, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you subscribe.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them directly.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Firenest to access data you have no right to access.
  • Do not use it to breach Google's terms for Firebase or Google Cloud, or any law that applies to you.
  • Do not attempt to resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app.

Third-party services

Firenest depends on Google's APIs, and Google may change, restrict or discontinue them at any time. It also relies on Apple for distribution and payment, and on RevenueCat for subscription state. Those services carry their own terms, and outages or changes in them can affect the app.

No warranty

Firenest is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for lost data, lost profits or business interruption arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law of your country.

Termination

You may stop using Firenest at any time, and have your account deleted — here is how. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date, and continuing to use the app after that constitutes acceptance.
