Delete your account

Steps

1. Send an email to alan@ziewnull.com from the email address your Firenest account uses.
2. Use the subject line Delete my Firenest account.
3. We confirm the request by replying to that same address, and delete the account.

Sending from the registered address is how we verify that the request is yours. If you can no longer use that mailbox, write from any address and say so — we will verify another way before deleting anything.

What is deleted

• Your Firenest account record: the email address, and the display name if you set one.
• The link between your account and your subscription.
• Anything the app stored on your device is removed when you uninstall it — preferences, and the app-lock PIN hash.

Deletion is permanent. Signing in again afterwards creates a new, empty account.

What we never held in the first place

Firenest calls Google's APIs straight from your device and operates no server of ours. Your Firebase projects — documents, user accounts, files, configuration — were never sent to us and never stored by us, so there is no copy of them for us to delete. They stay in your own Google account, untouched by deleting your Firenest account.

Your Google OAuth token is kept in your device's keychain only. Uninstalling the app discards it; you can also revoke Firenest's access from your Google account settings at any time.

What is kept, and for how long

• Account record: deleted within 30 days of the request, usually within one business day. Backups are cycled out within a further 30 days.
• Purchase records: your subscription was billed by Apple or Google, and their records of it sit with them, not with us. We cannot delete those. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple or Google account settings, and contact Apple or Google about their own records.

Cancel the subscription first

Deleting your Firenest account does not cancel a paid subscription — only the store that billed you can do that. Cancel it in your Apple account settings or in Google Play before requesting deletion, otherwise it keeps renewing.
